From download to the first “Good morning”

A relative sets the app up from their own phone. The older person only has to open it and tap a button.

  1. Download the app and create your account

Sign in with Google, with Apple or with your email. The app is available in Spanish and Catalan.

  2. Create the family

Give it a name and you become its administrator. From there you start the 30-day free trial, with no card.

  3. Invite the others with a code

The app generates an invite code. Each person types it in when installing DiAlgo and you decide their role: relative or older person.

  4. Choose the buttons

Switch on the ones that make sense for your family, put them in any order and add your own. Each button has its own colour and sound.

  5. Add medication and medical visits

Scan the barcode on each box or type the medicine in by hand, and set the times. Log upcoming visits with date, place and notes.

  6. From then on, one tap

The older person opens the app and taps a button. The check-in reaches the family instantly and stays in the history.

Three roles within the family

Administrator
Creates the family, invites and removes members, chooses the buttons and enters medication and visits. This is the person who pays the subscription.
Relative
Receives check-ins, replies and browses the history. Sees medication and visits if the administrator allows it.
Older person
Has a simplified screen: large buttons to check in, their medication to mark as taken, and their upcoming visits.

Two things worth knowing

Several families
The same person can belong to more than one family — their mother’s and their father-in-law’s, say — and switch between them.
It is not an emergency service
The “I need help” button alerts the family, not the emergency services or a telecare provider. Where there is a risk of falls or medical emergencies, DiAlgo complements telecare; it does not replace it.
